ALG handles a wide variety of employment matters, including issues related to discrimination and/or retaliation on the basis of sex, race, age, disability, religion, or national origin under state and federal law and including the American’s With Disabilities Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Act of 1991, the Equal Pay Act of 1963, the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, the Wyoming Fair Employment Practices Act, the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, and other federal and state acts. They also handle state common law claims for wrongful termination, as well as employment related tort claims such as invasion of privacy, slander and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The firm has handled a number of cases seeking temporary restraining orders and injunctions based upon non-compete agreements.

The firm also practices before the EEOC and Wyoming Fair Employment Practices Commission. They have lectured and written articles for various special interest groups including the Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association, National Business Institute, Wyoming Claims Association, Council on Education in Management, Wyoming Hospital Association and Wyoming State Bar Association.
